I included three versions:
1(A) - Encased - The magnets are encased. I did not like the idea of gluing the two halves together, so the model is one piece, and the magnets can be placed by adding a pause at 8.6mm.
1(B) - I also included an encased sword for 9x3 magnets.)
2 - Not encased - This version has the magnets on the outside. The only difference is that the model is 30 percent bigger and allows for 8x3 magnets. I also included the seat and the handle in the larger size.
3 - Not encased (original size) - Lastly, I included a model that is the original size. The magnets are not encased, and to accommodate the larger magnets, the hole goes through the entire sword. There is a drop of extra space, but not enough to create a covering layer. I have found that the magnets fit pretty snug and no glue is really needed.
I like printing these at 20 percent infill, no supports, and a 0.3 mm layer height.
The author remixed this model.
This model can hold 8x3 magnets. After a bit of experimentation, I made the model 30 percent bigger to accommodate the larger magnets.
