This is a replacement handle for the Joyce Chen flat-bottom wok (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001VQIP4/). The wok comes with resin handles, but many owners have experienced failures in these handles, and replacement handles are not readily available.
The wok is rated for temperatures up to 500 F (260 C) on a stove and up to 350 F (175 C) in an oven. If you only intend to use the wok on a stove, the handles will rarely be subject to high temperatures and can be safely printed with PLA or PETG. However, if you intend to use the wok inside an oven, printing with a material with a high heat deflection temperature, such as nylon with carbon fibers, is recommended.
Among other products, both Prusament PA11 Carbon Fiber and Polymaker PA6-CF are capable of withstanding the rated temperatures. Prusament PA11-CF has a heat deflection temperature of 350 F (175 C), while Polymaker PA6-CF has a higher heat deflection temperature, 420 F (215 C), but must be annealed for 6 hours at 175-210 F (80-100 C) in order to reach that rating.
