A moulded silicone brush for cleaning nozzles.
I use the “Nozzle X” nozzles, and it's not recommended to use brass brushes since it can damage the coating.
So I made this mouldable brush/scrubber that hopefully won't damage the coating.
Update:
Made versions of the moulds that can be bolted together with 4x m3x16+mm bolts and m3 nuts.
They are the ones with a filename ending with “_bolted”
-Print all the parts.
-Clamp the two moulds together. (You might want to add some mould release. For example vaseline or soapy water)
-Orient the mould so that it is standing with the hole facing up.
-Pour around 8g of high temperature silicone into the mould.
-Insert the handle all the way into the mould and let the silicone harden.
There is a notch in the handle that will catch on the mould and prevent it from going in to deep.
The top mould has a little curve embossed above the hole for the handle.
It's there to show how the handle should be oriented in the hole. The wavy grooves on the handle needs to face towards the curve symbol.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
