RackBlox are 3D printable modular Eurorack case boxes for single modules or groups of modules that belong together.

Here's a video of the first working prototype:

An innovative mechanical connector allows boxes to easily and sturdily attach together without tools.

No screws are required to put modules in the boxes either, thanks to a novel slide and snap fit design. Each box can be protected with a lid that works both when used in a larger case or standalone for storage.

The complete RackBlox collection has the following exciting features:

  • Available sizes are: 4HP, 6HP, 8HP, 10HP, 12HP, 14HP, 16HP, 18HP, and 20HP
  • Standalone sides to finish your boxes
  • Can holder and can cooler so that you can hydrate while you create without the risk of spills
  • Fully open-source and free
  • Reusable connector and assembly mechanism
  • Assembly is mechanical and requires no glue
  • Fast print times and conservative material usage
  • Designed both for FDM and PLA+ printing
  • Remix tools to adapt existing STL models you already have
  • STEP files to create your own boxes
  • Detailed print instructions for BambuStudio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer, Cura, IdeaMaker and Simplify3D
  • All models have been printed and tested on multiple FDM printers from different brands
