You know these laser-cut plants that you buy, shape and glue to your bases and/or dioramas? Well, I was inspired to make a really, really flat plants in Blender, so you can print them flat on an FDM printer, shape and glue. I'm not sure if I'm the first to came up with this idea, but I would be surprised if this were the case.

Anyway, the trick is to set the print correctly - I suggest anything between 0.10 and 0.20 layer hight and NO MORE than 2 layers. Scale the models in Z-axis if you need, so that after slicing, you get no more than 2 layers. Try to print on slower speeds, as with such thin layers with many corners, making everything stick to the build plate can be difficult (especially with my fern model).

You can print these in any color you want, then prime them and paint. But the lazy approach is to purchase some green filament ;).

The package includes 3 main sets of plants:
- fern
- monstera
- a general kind of a leaf

The "bar" across the plants is meant to hold them together for storage, and to make it easier to remove them from the plate.

Also, there's "fdm-plant-1.stl" file with my prototype (to test the concept), and some more monstera plants that come in three leafs connected togheter.
