Telescope Mounting Bracket for Celestron SCT 6" to 14"

Fitting

The mounting bracket for the Celestron 8" Edge HD  is printed and tested for fitting.
 

• 6" SCT confirmed by Jason Soder
• 8" Edge HD confirmed by me
• 9,25" Edge HD confirmed by Andrew vk3bq
• 11" not tested
• 14" not tested

If you confirm the fitting for the other sizes, i will mention you above.

Please check if the radius fits the arc. If you send me the measurements of your telescope, i will render a version for your model.

Printing

Print it standing up, the screw holes to the upper side. That way you get a nice finish.
I'm recommending PETG (or stronger filament) and use at least 20% infill. PLA could be too brittle and melt at daytime in the sun.

Update-ing ;) 11.02.2024:

• Added chamfer to mounting base.
• Added chamfer to ease inserting into the clamp.
• Added alternative model with a thicker mounting base. You will need longer screws to attach it.
