A new addition to the series of vases with unusual geometries. The spiraling curves introduce some stiffness to the thin wall structure. A parametric modell in Grasshopper allows for adjusting the spirals and the general outer shape of the vase.

The geometry is intended to be printed in vase mode. In the .3mf-file there's a scaling factor set of 136% to achieve a height of 200 mm.

Overall dimensions of the STL:

  • Max. diameter: ~ 77 mm
  • Height: 147 mm

Geometry was created using Rhino/Grasshopper.
Toolpath of the model exported with PrusaSlicer.

Notes:
