Adapter to install your phone or navigation device more vertically on the Kuda console.
I bought a Kuda console for my Ford Focus (partnumber 617415). The mounting surface of this console is not vertical and I wanted my phone to be vertical in my Brodit mount. For this reason I designed a wedge shaped block.
Two M3 nuts (2.35mm high) can be pulled into the underside of the wedge and two M3 square nuts (1.8mm high) can be pushed into the back.
For the square nuts to fit, the two holes need to be cleaned out first.
The block can be screwed to the Kuda console and the Brodit or navigation mount can be screwed on using M3 bolts. Please be sure to use bolts that are not to long.
When you print the wedge with the side with the small holes facing down on the buildplate, only a few simple organic supports are needed.
In my case I removed the glovebox to route the cable into the dashboard.
I printed the wedge using PETG, I hope it will withstand the direct sunlight and heat.
