A fullsize panel mod for the v0.2 with 100mm Tophat. I wanted to enclose my Voron as much as i can for printing ABS/ASA. Since i don’t use the tophat i choose to go fullsize panels with some mods already found online and a few adjustments of my own (Credits in the remix section).
There is a fan in the back for cooling the electronics an a 2 angle PTFE tube entrance on the back panels. This way you can choose to enter from the left or right side. When 1 side isn't used i put in a small piece of PTFE-tube that is sealed. Since the Tophat isn't used anymore as intended i've included remixed camlocks on the A/B drives as well. This way you can lock/unlock it in the same way as the front idlers.
This is the complete package for what you need when you want to replicate this on your own.
BOM:
- Heat inserts M3x5x4 - x6
- 6x3 Magnets - x17
- 3M VHB 5952 Tape (1mm thickness, 1 roll of "6,35mm x 4,5m" is enough)
- Foam Tape (3mm thickness, 5mm wide)
- Extra standard idler cam lock from the Voron github - x2
- M3x8 BHCS - x2
- 92mm fan - Mount is for the Noctua NF-A9x25)
Optional BOM, extra on top of BOM above:
- 6x3 Magnets - x8 for a swingable toppanel. Also print extra set of the StealthHandles and hinges used for the door.
For print-guide and installation of the ZeroPanel clips i recommend taking a look at their guide: https://github.com/zruncho3d/ZeroPanels
Also credits to MapleLeafMakers for the idea of URBI. Although not used the URBI gave the inspiration to implement the entrance of the PTFE tube at an angle in the back.
Since the panels are custom (Toppanel is stock size, but included as well) i've included the .dxf files that i used as well so you can replicate the build. No STEP files, STL's are the source files.
I wanted to set the license to GNU v3 but 1 mod is GNU v4 which is preventing me from setting it from v3. The “Lower Rear Panel” is v4, rest of the models are GNU v3
The author remixed this model.
ZeroPanel: Panel clips used
ZeroPanels_for_Stock_v0.2: StealthHandle and StealthMagnet, also basic idea of the package
Lower Rear Panel: Ventilation pattern
A/B Idlers: Remixed camlock slots on it
