Let me tell the  story first behind this project

One night at the Factory when we shift my colleague told me that he broke his Facom nano box. I ask him to show me the box and see that the tool holder is broken in two. I said give me parts and let me few days, I take my caliper, fusion360 and let's go

I make a reproduction of the part and add some play to hold the tools, after 3 try I had the play that I want.

I make the pin also who is the final assembly to lock the tool holder in place.

The junction part was not broken but take the time to make it and try it also like the spring.

I post the step files for people who want to remix or adjust some cotation for their printer.

Let's print in PLA or PETG (work fine in PLA depend if you use it a lot). I use prusament with basic settings, only need support for the holder.

Begin by just broke all the organic support on the holders and clean everything. After use a 1mm drill on the hole for the spring (only 1 parts use the spring)

For the spring you could use a paper clip, his diameter is 0.8mm, you could see the size of the paper clip on the picture.

Extend it straight, use a flat pliers to help you.

After that use a 4mm drill and make the round of the spring like on the picture you need 4 winding.

Be carefull to let enough lengh on each side for the last bend and cuts.

Here are the lengh of the original spring :

Do the last small bend and cut to have the good dimension.

Put the spring inside the hole of 1mm that you drill before and after turn it inside the axe

Now assemble the two holder with the junction be carfull to put the round part of the junction on the side of the spring.

Put on the left side of the axe in the hole of the box and align with the hole on the right

Add the pin in the hole on the right side through the holder. (on the picture you could see the junction 3D print that works)

Push with a flat plier to help you, normally it fit strong but if you want you could glue it

And you have finish, here is the result with a normal Facom nano
