Kamisado - Board Game

Kamisado is an abstract strategy board game for two players that's played on an 8x8 multicoloured board. Each player controls a set of 8 dragon tower pieces. Each player's set of dragon towers contains a tower to match each of the colors that appear on the squares of the board. It's a game of strategy and tactics, testing your ability to outmaneuver your opponent.

Board colors are:

Brown, green, red, yellow, pink, purple, blue, orange

Print instructions

You would need to print:

• 8 sets (total 64 pieces) of board pieces in 8 different game colors, according to board colors. 
• 16 dragon tower pieces, with one white and one black tower with colored crown matching the 8 colors of the board.

For dragon towers colored crown set switch color at 235 layer.

Note: I labeled each board piece using the text negative part in Bambu Slicer. However, currently, there is no export option for these pieces with the negative part included. To simplify the assembly of the board, I recommend using a permanent marker to mark the bottom of each piece accordingly.

How to set the game:

Construct the game board similar to solving a puzzle, following the color map of the board.

Each player gets 8 dragon towers of white or black color.

Place your 8 dragon towers in a line on the row closest to you. 

The towers crown color should match board piece color.

How to play:

The objective is to move your colored dragon tower to your opponent's side, opponent's “home row”.

Towers move in straight lines, either forwards or diagonally forwards. No sideways or backwards moves are allowed. 

The twist is that you must move the tower of the color matching the space on which the opponent moved on their previous turn.

As the game progresses, in case that your dragon tower routes are blocked by enemy towers, and sometimes your own and If you can't move, your opponent moves again immediately, moving the tower matching the color of the space occupied by the stymied tower.

The first player to reach their opponent's back row wins.
