VW Sharan towing device button

The tow relase button in my VW Sharan got loose. The reason is mechanical damage to the plastic cage that holds the PCB with a push button.

I designed a 3 part replacement, that assembles the same way as the original assembly. You can't mix the original parts with the replacement ones, you have to print all 3 and use them together. You'll also need 2 pcs of 2.5mm screws with flat head. I used some from an old notebook. Alternatively you can try a full core copper wire.

I suggest to print using PETG or ASA due to potentionaly high temperatures in the summer.

The original parts are the gray and yellow ones on the bottom part of the picture. There are also multiple iterations.
