Description

PDF

The model consists of three parts stacked on top of each other: lower connects to the eyepiece; middle and upper allow for the camera to be moved relative to it. The positions can be fixed using screws (cf. images). To hold the actual webcam, an additional camera bracket (orange) is needed. Under “Files” you will find an example .stl file for the Logitech StreamCam. In case you need to design your own bracket, an image with measurements is provided as well.

Putting springs between upper and the camera bracket enables the camera to be tilted (cf. images).

Additional parts/adjustments needed:

  • lower: is made for a 34mm-35mm wide eyepiece; NX part files available
  • middle: 2x M3x16 screws (or longer), 2x M3 nuts for locking part in place
  • upper: 2x M3x20 screws (or longer), 2x M3 nuts for locking part in place;
    three heat set inserts for camera bracket screws
  • camera bracket: screws as needed, springs if wanted
