This is a box for an STC1000 thermostat (such as this one), large enough to accomodate a British/Irish 1-gang BS1363 socket outlet (like this one). Additionally, it has 2 holes for M16 cable glands.
You will need a few M3x6 threaded inserts for both the lid mount and the socket mount, as well as some M3 bolts. Normally, BS1363 sockets use M3.5 bolts to screw into the backbox but I didn't have any M3.5 bolts nor threaded inserts, so I had to use M3; they will suffice in keeping the socket secured to the box.
The box dimensions are 215mm x 190mm x 120mm, so it should fit on most standard printers.
I've modelled this in Onshape, feel free to copy/modify it to your liking. I've also added .sldprt, .iges and .step files so you can use your favourite CAD program to modify it.
This is my first proper CAD design, everything else I designed so far was done in Tinkercad. Any feedback or suggestion is more than welcome.
