Simple tablet holder used for darts scoring apps. Designed to hang on a screw/nail on a wall.

As it is currently, it can hold from regular smartphones up to 10in tablets. For size reference, in the picture below it's holding an ipad mini gen 5.

For larger tablets one option would be longer bottom parts (the hooks that hold the tablet). I'd be happy to provide modifications on request.

All the parts are printable without supports as long as recommended print orientation is respected.

Additional hardware: 2 x M4 25mm bolts and 2 x M4 nuts.

Printing tips:

[Edit]: Should have mentioned this from start, for the main body, a 300mm bed is needed. There is one remix already with shorter body and longer legs. If other bed sizes need to be accommodated, I can also provide updated files, just let me know.

No supports, 3-4 perimeters, 15-30% infill, 4-5 top and bottom layers.

Printed in ABS on a Voron 2.4 in a well heated chamber and slow cooldown to avoid warping. Other materials/printers should do just fine.

  • main body should be printed front side towards the bed (the groves in which the nut holders go should be upwards). In the hanging keyhole there is a 0.2mm layer designed in to avoid supports. Easy to clean with a soldering iron or a cutter.
  • the bottom parts need to be printed individually as they are mirrored (don't print two of the same). Orientation is sideways, with the "puzzle" shape upwards. This is for increased strength and in this way any later delamination issues are mitigated.
  • the top clamp should be printed with the long flat surface towards the bed. High angle overhang so no supports needed.
  • the knobs need to be printed with the larger round section towards the bed.
  • the nut holders should be printed with the larger surface towards the bed

Assembly tips:

Holes might need some cleanup with a 4mm drill bit.

Easiest way to press in the 4mm nuts is like inserts with a soldering iron tip. On request I'd be happy to provide design changes like insert holes instead of nut cutouts.

The bolt tops are just press fit in the knobs but if the holes need to be cleaned up with a drill and fitment is too lose, a bit of glue can help.

If any design changes are needed for larger tablets/different bolts/etc, get in touch and I'd be happy to provide them.
