The original part cooling fan modules of the Muldex 3D printer work very well, but they protrude from the front of the printer, so it makes it a bit difficult to enclose.

Because enclosing the printer is only needed to print high temperature materials which don't require much cooling, I designed slim fan modules which allow easier enclosure and still provide some cooling when necessary.

Each module requires

  • 1 “4010” 24V blower fan
  • 4 5x3mm magnets
  • 4 M2.5x6mm screws
  • some glue for the magnets (I used CA glue)

As the fan duct is close to the bed and nozzle, it needs a temperature resistant material. I used a PC blend.
