Just another moss pole? Nope, it's the culmination of all moss poles!
The opening size of the pole elements has such a size that organic materials (e.g. sphagnum moss) as well as anorganic materials (e.g. pon or expanded clay) are secured inside of the pole. The aerial roots of your plant can access the secured moisture and nutrients inside the pole filling easily and will continue to grow upwards. Until the end of the pole?
Well, luckily you can just add another pole element on top! It is secured via a bayonette mechanism so the connection area is barely visible.
But how to secure it inside my pot? The base of this model uses small feet under the substrate so you can position the base easily. Just snap off the feet at the desired length. This way, you can even position the pole excentric in your pot (more space for your plants). And if you dont need any feet, just snap them off at the base.
In the future, I will add different diameters and base sizes.
Happy printing and growing!
The author remixed this model.
Different diameter, smaller openings (also for anorganic fillings like pon so it doesn't fall out), modified bayonette connector, added a base with adjustable/snapable feet
