This is technically still a work in progress. I finised my finals this week so I didn't have enough time to create a detailed write up of the entire project.
It is intended to be a mobile soldering station capable of fitting in a backpack that can be easily powered through either 12 V DC or a USB-C charger capable of outputting 25 W or more.
The soldering station contains:
A complete BOM and build instructions will follow once I get the time for it unfotunately the next semester already begins tomorrow.
Apart form the electronis is fairly straight forward how to assemble. The electronics need a bit of extra work becuase two voltage converters are needed. One for the soldering iron and one for the LED panel. Also getting the wiring hidden inside the model is a bit of a challange but it works if done correctly.
Eveything except for the connection piece, right and left side is perpared for the Mini so that more people are able to print it. To print it on the MK3S one can simply edit the 3MF files.
3MF files for cut up versions of the connection piece, right and left side are also included so that the entire project can be done with a Mini. The right and left side loose a bit of integrity, the connection piece has a bit cut away which only affects the look of the soldering station.
The author hasn't provided the model origin yet.
