This is very tricky to fit, it almost feels like you're going to break it. Put the controller handle down through the ring, hook the arch over the top of the trigger then bend the inner ring, one side at a time, downward into the outer ring. Once you have both sides inside the outer ring you need to remove the overlap by pulling the two sides apart, nesting them nicely into the outer ring.
