I got a lot more fingerboards recently and wanted a cool fingerboard stand, so I whipped this one together! It holds 10 decks total and can fit fingerboards of almost all sizes. Here are files for the Tech Rack as one print, but requires supports, and has overhangs. Additionally there's also 3 files for the stand that is much easier to print and requires no supports, but basic assembly is required.
Print 1 “Part A”
Print 1 “Part B”
Print 1 “Base”
Insert "Part A" first, then insert "Part B", forming the Tech Rack. (Panels should slide in perfectly with some pressure if your printer is properly calibrated.)
Super glue the bridge of "Part B" to the top slot of "Part A" to secure the bridge.
Add a small line of super glue to the top slot on "Part A,"
Carefully put the bridge of "Part B"on top of the "Part B" Slot. For the best results I recommend using a mini spring clamp to secure the bridge while the glue dries/cures.
I recommend putting some non slip foam padding on the bottom to prevent the Rack from sliding. Extra foam fingerboard grip tape works perfectly for this.
I went this route since I didn't want to use/print supports, and it was faster to print since I didn't need to slow down for overhangs. You can print all the parts separately if you want the rack to be different colors or you can print all of the parts at once!
Let me know if you have any questions and PLEASE post any makes, I'd love to see your print!
