Basic information

The original Articulated Hammerhead Shark gets an update! The most significant changes were made to the appearance of the Shark, it's now even more appealing, cute, and eye catching, than the previous design. Now in multi material!

You will need a setup capable of printing with at least 3 filaments.

The Hammerhead 2.0 is using a third generation of linkage system, the ArtiLink 3.0, which is even more durable, forgiving, and easier to print than it's predecessors. Models equipped with ArtiLink 3.0 linkage system are so far the toughest, and the easiest to print from my entire articulated models lineup.

Files information

You can find 3 files in the files section, named by the colors, used in the example model. But don't let it limit you! You can get creative, and come up with your own original color scheme. Don't forget to share the results!

This model is a part of the Articulated Sea Life collection by me. If you want, you can check out other models from this collection, and see, if something catches your eye. If you're interested, you can visit the collection using the following link: https://www.printables.com/cs/@JD3d_289531/collections/700909

The Articulated Sea Life collection is a live project, and I'm continuously adding new models, everytime I get an interesting idea, or a suggestion. The models are also updated, if changes and tweaks to design have to be made. Feedback, suggestions and ideas are welcome!

Material

 PLA

Layer height

 0,2 mm

Infill

>10%

Support

None. The model was designed not to require any support material.

Scaling

Possible, downscaling is easier, than ever before! If you have a well calibrated machine, you can downscale the model without any need for concerns. If you won't go way too crazy with downscaling, you shouldn't encounter any issues.

Orientation

Default, laid flat on the belly

Adhesion aid

Not necessary, contact area with the buildplate should be sufficient. If your print surface suffers from poor adhesion, consider using an adhesive spray, or an other kind of adhesion booster. Using a brim is possible, but not recommended, as it would be difficult, and inconvenient to remove afterwards.

In this section, you can find a list of all updates and fixes, which were introduced to the model along the way. Each update will be explained thoroughly, so that you know, which issue was every specific update adressing. If you're having any problems with the model, you can check here, if a new, revised version of the model, has already been released in a response to your problem, or not.

If you run into any issues with the model, please pay a visit to a section of known issues, which can be found just below the Updates and fixes. If you won't find your specific problem in there, don't hesitate to contact me via dm!

There currently aren't any known issues/work in progress. If you run into any, please contact me via dm.
