Asko dishwasher handle part

This is a replacement backing to the “HANDLE LID FOR DECOR PLATE” part on an Asko D5624 dishwasher. It appears to be used on other D5xxx models as well.

The original part number is 8084025 and is a single piece of ABS plastic. You can find it in the attached parts catalog under #624.

My replacement is built to use a .3mm x 3mm x 10mm compression spring, so that it can easily be inserted from the front of the otherwise completely assembled dishwasher (I purchased these springs - Amazon link). The spring goes inside the opening at the bottom of the model and then the cylindrical pin can be inserted, compressed and the handle cover installed. In a pinch, a section of 3mm bamboo skewer can be used, if the printed pin is too tight of a fit. I had mixed success with the printed pin.
