Designed this fake battery to allow substitution for the hard to find 23A, 12 volt battery.

Notes:

Fake battery. I installed contacts on both ends so this acts as a battery replacement for the uncommon 23A, 12 volt battery. Now I can use any 12 volt DC input to power devices that require this battery. The fake battery is about 1.5 mm shorter than the real thing to allow space for the contacts.
