I did not render this model, I just softened and simplified to look less "poly", using the model available in the 3d Asteroid Catalogue site.

The file's names explained: name_1_x_10_y.stl is 1 : x* 10^y. So _1_6_10_7 is 1:600000000 or one in 60 million.

3 Juno

Juno it is the biggest S type asteroid along with 15 Eunomia, it was the third asteroid to be discovered, because the great eccentricity of its orbit, and its high reflectivity. S type asteroid are composed of silicate rock. This material is the main component of the terrestrial planets, and some of the biggest moons in the Solar System. These moons are the Earth's one, Io and Europa; the rest of the big satellites (bigger than 200km) are usually considered "icy moons".
