Dice Hive (Modular Dice Containment)

As a Game Master and dice dragon (dice collector/hoarder) I am always trying to keep my dice organized and easy to display. Dice bags work fine until you have so many sets that your bag is overflowing.

This design allows me to display and quickly find each set of dice that I have obtained so that I can find the exact set I want to use for the session. The entire design can be printed without supports and works well using both PLA and petG filaments. It is modular and all pieces snap fit together and can be easily pulled apart but is strong enough that it can be carried just by the lid without the entire thing coming apart. 

Planned improvements:

• Detachable handle
• Interlocking bases/lids to connect the 7x and 3x bases and lids together
• Adding an additional lid/base option that will hold up to 20 tubes in one container
• Locking lids for individual tubes

Completed Improvements:

• Larger hexagons for easier viewing
• Made the lid and base interchangeable so you can just print the same piece twice
• Tolerance for towers fitting into bases improved (lid/base changed slightly)

Printed on a Prusa Mk3s MMU2s (No MMU necessary)
