The width of the part is 30-mm. The minimum height of the hole that this will go in to is 10-mm. The max thickness of material that this will go over is 3-mm. Maybe this will work for other desks, or remix it for your use!
The cable clamping hook is for 2.5-mm diameter cable. It does come over the diameter (it is not just a tray for the cable to lay in) so you may need to lightly press your cable in to the hook with a spudger.
Part shown in the images is the MopioDeskHook printed Hatchbox black ABS. Layer height is 0.35-mm and fill is 20%.
Layer height and fill percentage are flexible. Print with brim and support. I prefer to use a material that I can weld with acetone (ABS or ASA).
Post-printing - Break out the support material and Insert an M3 thin pattern nut. Glue the cover over the nut to retain it. Use an M3X6-mm screw or longer to clamp the hanger to the desk support arm.
I have not printed the heat-set nut version, but it should work great!
Post processing of this version will be much simpler, just break out the support and set a M3 3-mm X 5-mm heat-set nut. Use an M3X4-mm or longer screw, or a M3X5-mm set-screw for a super clean installation.
