Right now reprinting some parts for space edition.
Benchy 18 min but so good enough for me already

This was my first foray into building my own 3d printer, and I was very surprised how straightforward it was with how clearly everything is documented. I'm still not at a point where I get lightning fast speeds, but I get really good quality prints at around 150mm/s, for now, and a reasonably high quality 25 minute benchy, so I am very satisfied.

I want to build this but wondering why the build volume wasted when the bed could be fitted 235 by 235?

My printer has elephants foor and the tolerances are terrible but thats not the designs fault

You should really reward yourself for this incredible design by charging atleast $9 for the design, people are already spending $400 on the build, why not spend just $9 extra for the incredible design, it seems more fair to me.

Just finished my build and I have to say Im just impressed. This was my first core xy and self sourced printer so I exacted the build to be somewhat painful, but when following the guide on YT its actually pretty simple.

I still had to sand down some surfaces for the bearings to ride smooth, but that my very well be due the print quality of my dying ender 3 (edited)

@T4n15_1868871 wow that turquoise is amazing, which filament did you use?

@Archai I used Jayo pla in mint and black

This was a fun project and a huge learning curve for me. Now its time to make some speedboats.

Was a pleasure to build!

Very well documented with awesome online support. I added a few pieces to "make it my own" but all credit to Matt for making such a robust and versatile design.

I learned so much about 3D printing in general and fast printing in particular during this project, enough to know there is so much more to learn!
