This model is made by myself using MATLAB R2016a using the IQC model made by Park, R.S. and Buccino, from the data of the Dawn mission. It's scaled to 1 in 107 or one in ten million. The model of it has nearly 10cm in diameter. On this scale the Moon is a basketball, and Mars' moons Phobos and Deimos are 2 and 1 mm respectively. The file's names explained:name_1_x_10_y.stl is 1 : x* 10^y. So _1_6_10_7 is 1:600000000 or one in 60 million. 

1 Ceres

Ceres is the largest object in the Main Asteroid Belt. It was one of the originally dwarf planet recognised in the 2006 planet redefinition. It was the first minor planet discovered, and it was first categorised as a planet. One of the most notable surface feature is the Occator crater, responsable of the "bright spot" on Ceres.

  • Composition: Icy body, differentiated interior, possibly subsurface liquid water, rocky core. G type asteroid.

  • Model scale: 1:1x107 (10cm) 1:4x106 (24cm)
