Print this nice flower pot which looks like an old castle tower. When filled with soil the top bricks look really big and solid although the lower wall of the pot is only 3 mm (0.12 inches) thick.

The large flower pot is 14.2 cm (5.6 inches) high and 7.5 cm (2.95 inches) wide.

The small flower pot is 8.0 cm (3.2 inches) high and 8.4 cm (3.3 inches) wide.

Please do not resize the models in your slicer, as the wall thickness is designed for the present size. No supports are needed.

The flower pot "castle" comes in two flavours and in two sizes:

Flower pot 14.2 cm with slots at the bottom side

The pot has three slots at the bottom side to allow excess water to leave the pot. Best used with a bottom plate to collect excess water.

Corresponding STL files:

Flower pot castle 142mm V1.stl

Flower pot castle 142mm bottom plate V1.stl

Flower pot 14.2 cm without slots at the bottom side

Flower pot with solid bottom side without slots. Water your plant carefully.

Corresponding STL file:

Flower pot castle no slots 142mm V1.stl

Flower pot 8 cm with slots at the bottom side

The pot has three slots at the bottom side to allow excess water to leave the pot. Best used with a bottom plate to collect excess water.

Corresponding STL files:

Flower pot castle 80mm V1.stl

Flower pot castle 80mm bottom plate V1.stl

Flower pot 8 cm without slots at the bottom side

Flower pot with solid bottom side without slots. Water your plant carefully.

Corresponding STL file:

Flower pot castle no slots 80mm V1.stl

The flower pot is best printed with PETG. You should have some experience with PETG before daring to print this object to avoid frustration. PLA is not suitable as sunlight and water may cause the PLA to start composting.

PETG does not like to be printed too fast as this can cause layer adhesion problems. I have printed the flower pots with 60 - 70 mm/s. Part cooling fans completely off.

Please note that the large flower pot is quite big and weights about 280 g! If you print the bottom plate for the large pot, it weights about 90 g.

The small flower pot weights about 65 g. If you print the bottom plate for the small pot, it weights about 30 g.

Enjoy printing this object.
