I wanted to throw a shelf on top of my new Modular 004 unit, but the only original ones were double its width, so I took the Modular 006 and 007 shelves and cut them down to the correct size. For the 007 shelf, I also made versions with and without a center divider slot. (If you want other divisions for the 007, just ask—but dividing it in the center already makes pretty small compartments.)
To attach this shelf to the top of another Modular unit, you'll need to print 2 pegs, several versions of which can be found in the original design and its other remixes. (For what it's worth, I couldn't get the original pegs to work and used the “0,2mm” pegs from “Beter Pegs” instead, with a tiny bit of poster putty in the deepest part of each channel to help them stay in place.) The optional divider to slot into 007 is also available to print from the original design.
You may noticed in the photos that I've also created a hook that works both with these shelves and with the original ones, so follow the link or check the original design's other remixes or my profile if you're interested.
No supports or brim should be needed if printing in the supplied orientations (on its back for 006; on its base for 007). Printing 007 on its back may give you better peg channels, but at that point you would need to add support for its front lip.
