This is a fume extractor that uses a 120×120×25 mm fan and activated carbon filters. The cartridges must be glued together and can take either filter sponges or granules of pure activated carbon. To use the granular form, you must source a sieve mesh with openings no bigger than 800 microns and glue it to the openings of the cartridges. The inner dimensions of the cartridges are 130×130 mm.
I prefer using a cut-off USB cable to power up the fan, however you can use any cable that can supply the current needed by your fan, and an opening for routing the cables can be found on the right side of the base. It has no place for a switch and works by plugging in the cable.
The bottom part is a cable organizer, and it is not necessary to print. It is supposed to be a push fit, however I did not check the tolerances, so some glue might be necessary to fix it in place.
There is 9 mm of wall behind the fan and the holes are 4 mm wide, so 4 M4 screws with a length of your fan thickness + no more than 9 millimeters is required. My fan is 25 mm in thickness, so I chose M4x30mm screws.
