I created this clamp to hold looped cable together for stabilizing a telescope base, and alternatively as a wall/rafter anchored cable to prevent a TV from tipping off a dresser.

A #10-32 thumbscrew or alternative screw threads through the hex nut and pinches the two lengths of the coated cable together, preventing slippage.

An example of the cable I was using - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-16-in-x-50-ft-Galvanized-Vinyl-Coated-Steel-Wire-Rope-811062/300019543

The slot has a slightly loose fit, but I included the model file to so that the cable channel/slot can be modified.

Printed with 0.6 mm nozzle in PETG at 25% infill; but a 0.4 mm will also work.
