This is a quick little design I made to replace a broken windshield washer fluid reservoir cap. It may fit other models but it's specifically for the 1997 S90. It has a tether that needs to be inserted in the body frame hole like the OEM version.
Print Settings:
- Material: TPU
- Temp: ~= 205ºC - 215ºC, bed: 67ºC
- Speed: 40-50mm/s
- Printed on an Artillery Sidewinder X2
- Supports: No - none needed
This is a multi model print. There are some good tutorials on YouTube on how to do this. Here is a quick overview:
- Load the Washer Symbol model into your slicer. I recommend setting it off center to allow the centering probe to work normally if you have one.
- Disable the use of brim/skirts/raft.
- Slice the model and save the GCODE file.
- Load the Washer Lid model into the slicer.
- Place the model so that the cutouts for the washer symbol line up exactly over the top of the previous model. Once that is complete, delete the washer symbol model.
- You can use a skirt if needed on this model, but I wouldn't recommend a brim as this may impact the first model.
- Slice the model and save the GCODE.
- Print the Symbol model first, and ensure that the printer does not have a chance to cool down and dislodge the print.
- Swap your filament to a different color and print the Lid model. It will trace around the first print if it's properly aligned and continue to print until they become joined as a single print.
