Low Poly Car Wheels - Remaster

I have tried to make the rims look as original as possible. Works with all Turtleman's awesome models.

Alternative wheels for Turtleman's Low poly car models. To maintain reasonable quality, I had to split the wheels to multiple parts. I suggest printing with maximum layer height of 0,16 mm, but for more detail and less potential issues, print with 0,15 mm or less. Keep the given orientation in all stl files and add brim to small parts (middle hole insert and stem). The middle hole insert is optional, but I like to add the main colour of the car model to the wheels and make them stand out. Also, scaling down the model will not work well, it is pretty tiny as is.

At this point, I have made 4 versions.

  • V1.0 - has to be glued, but should work on any printer as tolerances aren't an issue

Glue with CA for example

  • V1.1 - same as V1.0, but has removable rim that can be printed in different colour to add more spice

  • V2.0 - this version can be glue-free, as the stem that is inserted into the car model has a thread that screws into the wheel - I have made the thread tolerance quite loose, so there shouldn't be any issue with clearance. Print the stem and middle insert with brim to be safe.

  • V2.1 - same as version 2.0 with removable rim.

(Rim is from PETG, so the quality is not ideal, sorry)

I hope you like the model, and if you have any problems or suggestions, let me know.
