I needed to improve the cooling for my network cabinet that is in an unventilated cupboard. I designed and printed this in two parts to fit on the bed, along with the template provided to cut / drill holes in the cabinet. I have added a small flange to the parts so they can be clamped and glued together once printed separately (print in PETG or something suitable for higher temps and glue with cyanoacrylate or epoxy).
The outlet is designed for this cheap rack mounted 3 x 120mm OEM fan unit here (although I'm sure there are plenty of clones about and you can probably use your own higher quality fans mounted separately with the holes in the manifold as designed, although bear in mind the ones under the duct are not easily accessible by design, which wasn't an issue for me!).
Used in combination with holes + filters in the bottom of the case, this has significantly reduced my equipment temperatures.
Photo of the final result is not great as space was tight and I didn't take photos during the process of installation, but works well!
