This is a replacement foot for IKEA Franklin stools. The higher version of this bar stool has different floor to leg angles at the front and rear legs, so an already available design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3591907) did not work.
This part can be printed in place and uses a 16 mm M3 screw (DIN 965) and nut (DIN 934) to reinforce the neck to the ball joint. The nut gets inserted while printing.
BEWARE: This design has been tested with 150 kg static load on the stool which might be easily exceeded by dynamic loads.
I printed this foot using PETG with increased wall thickness, 25 percent infill and upside-down for supports. See attached PrusaSlicer project for details.
The print needs to be paused for inserting the nut. The screw might come in handy as a positioning aid.
