I made this model for my Voron 2.4 so I could cleanly split the connections for the chamber LED strips. It only takes about 10 to 30 minutes to print and requires no support material.
What I used:
To assemble, start by trimming the pins on the bottom of the connectors to about 1 to 2-ish mm tall. They just need to be short enough not to contact the mounting surface but not so short that they're a pain to solder. Insert the connectors into the connector housing, and then join the matching sets of pins on each connector together with that piece of scrap wire and some soldering.
The connectors are meant to be held in place with good old friction, and that means that the tolerances for the connector housing are pretty tight.
On one of my prototypes, the holes were way to small, but I found with a bench vise I could just cram them in there. This had no effect on the functionality of the connectors.
I did update the dimensions to provide a better fit, but be prepared to need some force to get the connectors into the holes.
here it is installed in my V2.4
