Edit May 2024: I've now made a curved version of this, which keeps the filament to a better path when the spool is either full or almost empty

I liked the side spool mount, but the filament holder didn't work well for me.

So here is a quick remix, that gets the filament on a more straightforward path.

This new bracket slides in the original Side-Mount Spool Holder and requires no additional screws or bolts.

The amount of PTFE tubing required is around 22-25cm. If you don't have/dont want the pneumatic fittings you can just drill through with a 4mm bit, and use two Starlock washers or small zipties to secure the tubing.

As you can see from the pics, it works with the P1 Lite enclosure by CraftySven. Just use longer bolts: 2pc M3x10mm bolts at the rear, and one M3x15 +nut&washer for the mount in the center of the side panel (this holds most of the weight).
I've fitted with the original BambuLab metal holder using two M3x8 self-tapping screws&washers, and it holds very well (much better than using the M3 bolts threade directly in the PETG). I've used 100% infill PETG to get the structure as strong as possible.

This filament holder isn't carrying much strain, so you can go for 15-20% infill there.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

This is a holder for the PTFE tube that goes in the printer. It allows the use of standard PC connectors, and keeps the filament to a better line.
