When I change my summer / winter tires I like to keep track at which position each tire was mounted.

The commercially available tire markers I used before were breaking easily and often fall out of the rim. Also they weren't very visible.

My design consists of three main parts mainly because of the needed printing orientation of the legs. If printed out of PETG and laying flat, they can flex a lot and won't break.

The symbols are one layer thick, so a filament change is needed after the first layer is printed in an opaque color.
The meaning of the symbols should be hopefully self explanatory. But if not: The arrow points to the front of the car and the dot then marks the tire position where it was mounted.

Please see the provided pictures with assembly instructions, on how to put the parts together.

Print instructions

Best printed in PETG to give the legs some flex.

Use an opaque filament color for the first layer. Otherwise the symbols won't be visible enough. The rest can be of a transparent color if you desire.

The provided .3mf file has everything configured to print one complete set with a color change after the first layer.
