Painted in three colors using Bambu Studio to print on my Bambu Lab X1C with AMS.

This file is set up for Generic PLA on the Cool Plate. I printed in black, silk red-gold, and green glow-in-the-dark PLA with:

  • Arachne walls
  • 100% rectilinear infill (for better, more consistent glow; lower for other filaments)
  • Lots of extra top and bottom shell layers set to Hilbert Curve (also for more glow layers in my case; lower for other filaments)
  • Ironing Concentric on topmost only for part five, the helmet visor (smoothed Hilbert Curve)

Reminder to change your printer for P1P or P1S as well as the build plate in your slicer if you use textured or a third-party option. I also printed with a number of other shell patterns and ironing settings, which you may also want to try with this file.

(Before other Bambu owners come for me about using glow and AMS, I know you're not supposed to use abrasive filaments in the AMS. It'll wear parts out faster over time and increase the risk of jams. I was willing to take the risk for a couple of personal prints that only used less than 10g of the no-no filament.)
