Film Washer - Version 2

Film washer for 2x120 or 4x35mm steel reels.  Water is forced up over the baffle before it can escape.  As a result, the reels stay submerged, while water constantly flows from top to bottom.  A small drain hole allows heavier chemicals to bypass the baffle and drain directly.  It also drains the washer when not in use.

To precisely fit the printed parts to the acrylic tube, you may have to scale the X and Y of all parts, and the Z of the baffle tube.  If you want to make more significant changes, such as adapting to fit plastic reels, or more/fewer reels, please reach out to me and I'll generate a new set of models.

Printing:

See the attached 3mf file for recommend print settings.  Gcode files are for Hatchbox ABS.  Feet are NinjaFlex TPU.

Non-printed parts:

• Acrylic tube: 3.75" outer diameter, .125" thick, 5.415" tall.
• Flexible hose for input: .25" inner diameter. Choose your preferred method to connect to a faucet.

Assembly:

Seal base, baffle tube, top, and acrylic tube with silicone.  Glue input into top, you may also need to use some silicone.  Feet press-fit into base.
