This counting tray works with any size pill provided it's round and uniform.
Put some pills on the tray, swirl the tray around in a circular motion until they're all flat, then count how many full rows of pills there are, consult the table to see how many pills that equals, and add on the number of pills in the non-full row (if any).
Getting the text on this so it wasn't too big to be an obstruction but also not so small it couldn't be printed was awkward, I tried a number of ways of doing it and ended up with this. I usually print everything with a 0.6mm nozzle, but that's just too large for detailed small text, so I changed back to 0.4mm nozzle for this print.
I've included a model with no text on it, so that you can print it with any nozzle size in any layer height, and just consult the table for the count. I've included a PDF with the table, you could print it, cut it out and just stick it to the inside of the back wall with a piece of tape.
