The standard EAF metal bracket doesn't fit the Baader Planetarium Diamond Steeltrack 2" focuser without modifying the metal bracket to fit the larger M6 screws so I made up this bracket which utilises two of the M4 “attachment screws” and the M6 tension brake screw.
I repurposed one of the M6 plastic “sealing screws” and ground it down to approx 3.5mm in order to use it to plug the tension brake screw hole as I decided to use the tension brake screw in the hole freed up by moving the plastic sealing screw. I did need to use longer M4 screws for the two attachment screws to allow for the thicker mounting.
As yet I haven't had an opportunity to actually use the part in an imaging session but on the bench it seems like it will be suitable.
I've printed it in PLA+ with 0.3mm layers and 4 perimeters.
It's not super pretty, It's not super optimised but it seems like it works.
