This is a replacement for the final drive gear of Lidl SilverCrest electric salt/pepper mill. Due to the high milling torque, the factory gear is prone to losing a tooth. This design is perfectly compatible with the original gearbox, but it has some extra layers strengthening the teeth of the gear. It's strong enough to hold up to the high milling torque even when printed from PLA.
Be aware that when taking apart the mill, the wires going to the LED need to be unsoldered from the motor and resoldered after assembly. I recommend to apply some grease to the gears to reduce friction.
Settings:
0.4 nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 3 perimeters, 30% infill
Filament:
Better to use some strong material like PC.
I only had PLA and PETG around, so I used PLA cause it's stiffer. Suprisingly it doesn't break even after months of milling himalaya salt…
