We make Zimtsterne cookies every year and the dough is so sticky that it can be a pain to get out of standard cookie cutters.

I decided to try and make a spring plunger style cookie cutter and it turned out great! The shaft is 8mm and sized for a 9.5x16mm spring that I happen to have from this kit (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KZP0WOS/ref=cm\_sw\_em\_r\_mt\_dp\_U\_91v-DbF2ACN5R).

Easy to assemble and take apart to clean thanks to the threaded plunger. There are specific orientations were the center star fits better then other ones, thought it was perfectly symmetrical but didn't turn out that way, just rotate to find the best fit before attaching plunger.

I had a specific need for this shape but no reason why this design can't be easily remixed for any other shape. .step file provided for that purpose. Enjoy!

Printed in PLA and so far held up to a few uses and cleanings. Standard warning here regarding 3D prints and cooking, bacteria can grow and be an issue so keep it clean and consider disposing after a few uses.
