Paperclip Nest

This is my first CAD design and it was because my wife wanted something to hold paperclips on her desk, I tried to think of something unique while also remaining functional. I take no credit for the bird itself only the idea and the base, the bird is from BISNETO over at thingiverse.

I incorporated 16 8x3mm magnets to hold the paperclips down, also the amount of magnets seems to grab paperclips and pull them in so as you use it they become more like twigs and branches and it does give the illusion of a nest. The magnet holes are oversized to account in variances in printers calibrations so please plan on using glue to install them  

I printed this with no supports, and 25% infill to give it weight so that it wouldn't slide around when you pull paperclips off.
