I LOVED Tony's idea for MTG counters and compiled a bunch of items from the community and remixed other items to make an all out storage solution!

This parametric box has been designed to hold 14 (Or 13 if you include the negative counter) different types of counters.

I have compiled the following

  1. Counter holders (Designed from scratch but based on Tony's remixes on Thingiverse)
    • There are two different types
      • One holds 14 different counters, 10 statuses in each, or 15 stackable “button” counters
      • One holds 13 different counters, including a special holder for the negative marker, and a raised counter for the 4 LotR rings used to mark how many times the Ring has tempted to you (From the new LotR set)
    • Print one of each or 2x the 14 counter option
  2. One Ring LotR Tempted Markers
    • Downloaded the 13mm from the remix and it fit great! (Print these at a low layer height or with a resin printer to make the inscription pop)
  3. MTG Counter No Supports Necessary
    • I like these blank ones better as they come apart easier (I printed 30 of each)
  4. Monarch / City's Blessing
    • Made by me for some player statuses (Larger, 2 will fit in a stack)
  5. MTG Fully Customizable Keyword Counters
    • An amazing tool that really builds on what Tony created.  Most of my pieces are made using this tool, except for what is mentioned above.
    • You can generate your own counters with this if you install the font mentioned and run it in OpensCAD
  6. Parametric Rugged Box
    • Sized to fit the counter holders perfectly.  You can shake the box full and no pieces will fall out!
    • I used these M3 x 30mm bolts (You need 6 of them):

I have shared my 3mf too to help you print if you have a Bambu printer. (Note that you should double-check the filament changes, as some I might've printed at .2 and others at .12)

Things I would change

If you feel like Tinkering and making this better:

  • I would change the height of the box in order to accommodate some foam in the top and bottom (Mostly for look)
  • You have to tip the outmost box in so slightly when the box is closing.  I might take off the corner of the counter holder to make it really seamless
  • I would make double the holders half the size, with some sort of stacking solution.  I originally wanted to print around 6 counters each, but I needed 10 poison counters so I opted for more tokens all around.
    • Note that the parametric box cannot get shorter in height (I've added that file as well with my settings saved.
  • Make the spacer for the Tempted Rings removable, so it can be an option or put in a different spot.
