Hello all, my girlfriend wanted some lights in her closet, so I came up with this simple switch that mounts to the door frame. Can be wired so that lights turn on when the door is opened or vice versa (not sure why you’d do that but you can) this uses a pen spring (4mm OD x 18mm L), a 5.5mm ball, and an omron D2F style switch. You can screw the switch and case together with M2 self tapping screws or just hammer nails through the case holes right into the door frame. Altogether cost about 50 cents! feel free to share pics and applications. there is enough clearance on all features so that a less-calibrated printer can still make this work smoothly.
