Description

PDF

A mounting bracket to attach a (repurposed) Android tablet that I use to monitor my prints via KlipperScreen, to my 3D-printer.

Specifics

  • The model had to be able to be stowed away to the side (when not in use) and rotated in full view. Preferably with rotation and tilting of the screen.
  • All connections are made with either M4x40 (2x) and M4x10 (4x) caphead screws and M4 Heat inserts.
  • I choose to print in black PETG but PLA or ASA should also work.
  • I added nylon M4 washers between all connections to create a bit more friction so it feels tighter.
  • Cable management (USB-charging) is fully Tie-Wrap based (i.e. non excistant due to lack of inspiration…. apologies).

Equipement used / BOM

  • RatRig VCore3.1-300 (other printers work just as well but hole pattern fits the 3030 extrusion mounting plates)
  • Samsung Galaxy tab 8.4
  • M4x40 (2x) caphead screws
  • M4x10 (4x) caphead screws
  • M4 Heat inserts
