Tired of crappy cardboard boxes for bin liners I made a simple solution. Some improvements could be made, but she works.

It takes a while for me to get through 70 bin liners and when the boxes are flimsy cardboard they end up pretty ratty pretty fast. So I needed a solution that would let the bags sit around the place and not look like garbage.

In two parts, the first is the holder which contains the roll of bags, the other is the end cap. The end cap features slightly angled flanges that hold the end cap in place.

Still learning this 3D printing thing… this is my first project I have shared.

My print is on a Bambu Lab X1-Carbon using Bambu Lab Matte Black PLA. Standard settings.

Note because the end cap needs some flex you should print it standing on its side with lower support to increase its strength. Original print was with the end cap flat, but the tabs broke pretty quickly.

Dimensions:

  • 138mm x 85mm x 85mm

Print time on the Bambu X1:

  • Holder Box - 2h6m
  • End Cap - 47m
